Biddeford council votes to take land the city had thought it already owned
No one has paid taxes on the 27 acres for many years – but a search showed no tax liens. The situation was discovered as the city conducted a title search in preparation for a land swap with a housing developer. The city will receive 100 acres in return for 4.2 acres in Clifford Park.
