Bath Fire Dept. nets $164K federal grant
BATH — The Fire Department is receiving nearly $164,000 in federal funds to replace some of its equipment. The funding through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program will pay for fire hose and breathing apparatus, U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, announced Sept. 2. Funds also went to the Buxton and Westport Island fire departments.
