Meet Bonny Eagle school district’s new superintendent

Brian Campbell wants to focus on building trust in the MSAD 6 community and supporting student growth in his first months on the job.

The MSAD 6 budget passed 4,227 to 3,028 and incumbent Cynthia Meserve and Dara Crawford won the contested school board races.

MSAD 6 announced Brian Campbell’s appointment to the job on Monday evening.

The decision follows a reduction in contracted service from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

The board acted April 6 while some community members appeared to have believed the vote was to come on April 7.

The proposed MSAD 6 spending would rise $4.6 million over the current budget.

The comment was made under a news story posted to Facebook.

MSAD 6 officials say Bonny Eagle High School will be a non-congregate site, allowing families to pick up meals.
