The lawyer for Harvest Hill Farms in Mechanic Falls says it will plead guilty Tuesday to driving to endanger, in exchange for dismissal of a manslaughter charge.

At the crux of the case is whether Joel Sabean knew that a family member to whom he sent more than $2 million was not ill when he deducted her medical expenses on his tax returns.

The idea is to get addicts caught with possession into treatment instead of the criminal justice system.
