WOLFEBORO, N.H. – Police say a Maine fugitive is facing several charges after leading officers on a chase that ended in New Hampshire.

WLBZ-TV reports that 32-year-old Andrew Collins of North Waterboro, Maine, was arrested Thursday after police used spike strips to blow out his tires on Route 28 in Wolfeboro. The York County sheriff’s office says the high-speed chase went through several Maine towns before crossing into New Hampshire.

Collins is charged with being a fugitive from justice, reckless conduct, reckless operation and several misdemeanors. He is being held at the Carroll County jail. It wasn’t clear whether he has an attorney.
