SKI STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS: DeAngelis wins classical race
RUMFORD -- Tyler DeAngelis couldn't pass up the chance to enjoy a beautiful February day. Twenty minutes after winning the Class B 5K Nordic classical state championship race, DeAngelis was back out on the course, taking a cool down lap, while his teammates were hanging out at the finish line, others in the lodge.

Skowhegan rallies for Alpine title
MARS HILL -- Skowhegan staged a comeback to win the Class A boys Alpine ski championship Wednesday morning at Big Rock. The Indians started the day in third place, but put all four skiers in the top 20 to beat Mt. Blue by four points.
