On Feb. 16, Paul McKenney of Cape Elizabeth was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Maine Army National Guard. His career as an Army officer includes 17 years of military service with commands stateside as well as overseas. McKenney now serves as a Senior Army Aviator in the Maine Army National Guard. He also works as a financial planner with McKenney and Stevens, a comprehensive financial planning and asset management firm in Falmouth, and is a Cape Elizabeth town councilor. He is pictured here with his children Alex, Aaron and Jackie and his wife Betsy.
