The Westbrook Chamber of Commerce is inviting any interested citizen or organization to join them at the Maine Heroes Parade this Friday in Portland.
The chamber will be sponsoring a float in the parade, which is celebrating Maine’s troops and will feature a special appearance by the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.
Anyone interested in marching with the chamber members or riding on the float should meet at the corner of Spring and Oak streets in Portland no later than 2 p.m. on the day of the parade. Residents interested in taking part in the parade should be aware that many streets in the city will be closed by 1 p.m. and should plan accordingly.
