Georgette Cote will be recognized this month by the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Southern Maine for her 32 years as a volunteer.
The program will also honor Marion Wellman for her five years of volunteer service.
The honors will come when the program holds its 32nd annual volunteer recognition luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Verrillo’s Convention Center in Portland. Cote is a charter volunteer with the program.
The program recruits people 55 and over who want to use their time, talent and energy to benefit their communities through volunteer service. Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Southern Maine matches volunteers with non-profit organizations throughout Cumberland and York counties. For more information, call 396-6520.
