The Naples Public Library is pleased to offer a very special one day bus trip to Boston to see the acclaimed production of “Les Miserables” at the Opera House on Feb. 23.

“Les Miserables” is the story of Jean Valjean, a man condemned to 19 years of hard labor for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family. Valjean is eventually released on parole but faces constant suspicion and hatred. He decides to break parole and start a new life in early 19th century France. This is an enduring story of love, courage and redemption that has won numerous international theater awards, including eight Tony Awards.

The Opera House is a stunning venue, having just completed a multi-million dollar renovation in 2004. The 2,500-seat theater, located near Boston’s Theater District, has been restored to its original elegance with beautiful murals, chandeliers and fabric wall coverings.

This special library benefit trip is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23. The cost is $101.50/person which will cover round-trip motor coach transportation from Naples to Boston and one orchestra seat ticket for the 2 p.m. matinee showing of “Les Miserables.” There will also be ample time available for shopping and dining in downtown Boston before and after the show as the bus will leave Naples at 7:30 a.m. and return at approximately 10 p.m. that evening.

For more information please call 693-6841 or 693-3463 or visit www.naples.lib.me.us. Full payment is required to reserve your seat and checks should be made payable to the Naples Public Library. Don’t miss out on your chance to see this wonderful production and show your support of the library at the same time!
