In an information box that appeared on page five of last week’s paper, “McGovern pulls out of talks,” the Current reported the status of Scarborough police contract negotiations and what the town offers for retirement plans erroneously. Scarborough concluded contract negotiations last month and has always offered both the Maine State Retirement System as well as the International City Manager’s Assocation plan.

Last week in a page four story, “Cape kids take plunge, again,” the Current reported the wrong age for the oldest dipper in the New Year’s Day dip at Kettle Cove. Her name was Rita Ready, and she was 81.
