Portland chef Brenda Broder brings her wit and cooking wisdom to the Meet the Chefs cooking series at the 16th Annual Maine Home, Remodeling and Garden Show at the Cumberland County Civic Center February 11 and 12. Broder is accomplished in the kitchen and well known for showering those around her with sweets to her fabulous full course meals.
Another highlight of the show is the revitalized Custom Home Theatre Pavilion that will showcase whole house automation. The pavilion will show home automation possibilities as well as state-of-the-art home theatre systems. Custom Home Theatre Systems and Automation will be giving away a powered subwoofer featuring a 12 driver, 150 watt digital amp, valued at $600. No purchase is needed to enter the drawing.
The 2006 Maine Home, Remodeling & Garden Show will be at the Civic Center on Saturday, February 11 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors over 65.
