Without any identifying stone, the name of this patriot soldier might be unknown but the flag indicates the person hasn’t been forgotten. The flag holder identifies the grave in the Gorham Village Cemetery on South Street as that of a Revolutionary War soldier. Gorham provided a number of soldiers in the revolution.
