Join Project G.R.A.C.E. on Saturday, Aug. 19, at Summerfest at the Scarborough High School field from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Project G.R.A.C.E. (Granting Resources and Assistance through Community Effort) serves individuals and families in need in the community by providing immediate help. The group’s mission is to improve the lives of our neighbors by identifying people in need and people willing to share their gifts to help them.

This year, the booths will feature food and fun for all ages. Scarborough’s Hannaford is sponsoring the food tent, and will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and brownie sundaes. Maine Root will be the featured beverage at the festival.

The popular “Race for G.R.A.C.E.” will also be held with a great assortment of prizes available. Project G.R.A.C.E hopes to raise $12,000 at the event.
