As part of Summerfest on Aug. 19, Scarborough will once again be hosting an art show at Memorial Park.

Visitors to the show will be able to take a leisurely walk through Memorial Park while enjoying the works of several well-known artists, photographers and fine crafters.

The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with musical entertainment provided by Rog & Ray from noon to 2p.m.

There will also be a craft corner for children. Artwork from Scarborough’s K-5 summer recreation program will also be displayed.

Before the show, there will be a pancake breakfast, sponsored by the 350th Committee. The breakfast will be held at Scarborough High School from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The events continue throughout the day at the Clifford “Kippy” Mitchell Sports Complex with food, games and music by the Half Moon Jug Band. The night will end with a spectacular fireworks display.
