Private dispute

On July 14 at about 9:15 p.m., a man reported being verbally attacked by a drunken man in the Old Ocean House Road area. The two people were apparently involved in a dispute over who had a right to use a private road.

On July 17, paint balls home hit a Broad Cove area during the night.

Undetected

On July 17 at about 5:30 p.m., a Mitchell Road area resident reported a radar detector stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in a lot at the fire station.

Dropped phone

On July 18 a Mitchell Road area resident reported a lost cell phone near Kettle Cove.

Winter wipe out

On July 19, at 6:50 a.m. a Mitchell Road area resident reported an iPod and snowboard was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked overnight in the driveway.

July 18

Stephen St. John, 19, 3 Canter Lane, was issued a summons on Scott Dyer Road for speeding 42 in a 25 mph zone.

Nina Etnier, 21, 10 Olde Fort Road, was issued a summons on Scott Dyer Road for failure to produce insurance.

July 19

Heath Petterson, 21, Limerick, was issued a summons on Fowler Road for failure to stop for a stop sign.

Claudia Dwyer, 56, 45 Resolution Place, was issued a summons on Scott Dyer Road for failure to produce insurance.

Keri Breuer, 38, 230 Spring St., Portland, was issued a summons on Route 77 for speeding 49 in a 35 mph zone

July 20

David Brochu, 18, 751 Main St., South Portland, was issued a summons on Shore Road for imprudent speed.

Matthew Cannell, 36, 10 Brown St., Westbrook, was issued a summons on Scott Dyer Road for an uninspected vehicle.

July 22

A 16-year-old boy from Scarborough was issued a summons on Spurwink Avenue for speeding 52 in a 35 mph zone.

Fire and Rescue

Cape Rescue squad responded to nine calls between July 18 and July 24. Eight patients were transported to Maine Medical Center and one required no transport.

The Cape Fire Department responded to a tree hit by lightning on Cheverus Road at 5:28 p.m. on July 18; a fire alarm at Delano Park at 8:28 a.m. on July 19; a motor vehicle accident on Route 77 at 2:51 p.m. on July 19; an alarm activation on Ram Island Farm Road at 3:11 a.m. on July 21; a tree on a power line on Stonybrook Road at 4:52 p.m. on July 22.
