The then new Gorham Municipal Center, which opened in July 1974, is shown as it looked before landscaping that spring. The building will be converted to total use by police, fire and rescue after town offices relocate this fall to the rehabbed Shaw School on South Street. Eben Marsh was town manager in 1974.
