The University of Southern Maine Lifeline Center for Wellness and Health Promotion will offer two new classes this fall: NIA class (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) and Belly Dance for the Body, Mind and Soul.

A free introductory NIA class with Maggie Bokor, certified white belt instructor, will be held Thursday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. Preregistration is necessary. The belly dancing program begins Oct. 2, at 5 p.m. Instructor is Kimberley Sinclair, who has been a member of Naya’s Trance professional belly dance troupe for the past five years. Both programs run five weeks, and class size is limited. The classes will be held at Sullivan Gym, 96 Falmouth St., Portland.
