The Westbrook American reported in its issue of Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1956, that Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Southard of Cressey Road announced the marriage of their daughter, Beverly, to Alfred P. Short, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Short of Buxton. They were married Aug. 11, 1956, in Fredericksburg, Va.
