Trinity Sunday school begins

Trinity Lutheran church, 612 Main St., will begin its new Sunday school season at 9 a.m. on Sept. 10.

“After a successful week of vacation Bible school in early August, the education committee is looking forward to seeing the children and their growth over the summer,” said Brenda Orach, a member of the church’s education committee. “There are different age groups with a variety of teachers ready to have fun teaching with music, games, crafts and mostly valuable stories and lessons. It is a great foundation for children and another place to meet new friends.”

Classes are from 9-10:15 a.m. Children from age 4 through teens are welcomed. She said there is pre-K through sixth grade, divided into age groups, a confirmation class for Grades 7 and 8 and a high school group. For the teens there is also a youth group that meets once a month on a Sunday afternoon and does various projects throughout the year.

The Rev. Tom Chittick will lead an adult Bible study that meets on Sunday mornings.
