The Gorham Business & Civic Exchange kicks off the season with its fourth annual family barbecue on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 5:30 p.m., at the Portland Faith Center.

Members and their guests are invited to the event. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided, and those attending should bring a dish to share and non-alcoholic beverage to drink. There will be art activities for children compliments of Jeremy Greene, the Art Guru, and lots of door prizes.

“This is a great opportunity to meet businesspeople in the community socially, a real mix of business and pleasure,” said Trish Moulton, president of the organization.
