The Bonny Eagle High School honor flag was raised for senior Allen Cox on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
This past summer Allen was named an All-American for the race walk in the high school division. He placed fifth in the United States in the Nike Outdoor Race Walk Championship, a mile-long held in Greensboro, NC.
Cox is a member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams. His father, also named Allen, was a member of the King Junior High track team in Portland that was coached by Allen’s present coach, Greg Wilkinson.
