The Gorham Odd Fellows Hall at the corner of School Street and College Avenue has long been a landmark in the village. According to “The Way It Was In Gorham,” by Bertha B. Willis, a part of this building is the original one where Toppan Robie ran a store 200 years ago. It later became Ridlon’s Store. College Avenue was once known as Hamblen Street.
