Westbrook (7-1) swept a doubleheader from Greely (2-5-1) in Cumberland on Sunday, winning the first game 2-1 and the final game 10-5.

Mike Tanguay paced the offense with a double and a single. Shawn McAlpine and Josh Harriman (winning pitcher) held Greely to four hits for the game.

The second game was wide open compared to the tightly played first game.

Shawn McAlpine and Christian Hamilton were repeat hitters. Stephen LeBel led Westbrook with a grand slam. McAlpine, Mike Tanguay, Josh Harriman, Eric Anderson and Mike Haskell contributed one RBI each. The pitching duties were shared by Hamilton, Shane Kelly and Joe Cook. Hamilton recorded the win.

Westbrook takes its division leading 7-1 record to Oxford Hills next Sunday, Oct. 8, for a doubleheader. The first game starts at 10 a.m.
