After nearly 10 months of construction, the Scarborough Hannaford supermarket will celebrate its grand re-opening on Saturday.

The renovation added a drive-through pharmacy, a separate pharmacy entrance, a new interior and an exterior facelift.

The store opens Saturday at 6:45 a.m. The first 500 customers will receive a free wooden cutting board and Hannaford Inspirations recipe cards, and all customers will be able to sample a variety of foods throughout the day. Customers can also enter to win free groceries for one year, valued at $5,200. Drawings for gift cards will also take place until Dec. 1. The winner of the year of free groceries will be announced on Dec. 8.
