Editor,

I would like to thank all of the people of Casco, Naples and Poland who recently voted for me and supported my campaign for State Representative in District 101. I am encouraged that 44 percent of the voters in our district believed I would better represent them in Augusta, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for their support.

Congratulations to Rich Cebra for his election to a second term, and I do hope he will not dismiss the concerns of those who didn’t vote for him. Nearly half the voters of District 101 sent a clear message with their vote, and their wish is not only that their views be accurately represented, but that the issues affecting our district will receive the attention they deserve.

I want to assure those who supported me that my ties at the state level remain very strong, and even if not as your state representative, I will continue to work on issues that are important to our district, such as the replacement of the Naples Causeway Bridge and our milfoil infestation problem, among other things.

Many of you have already asked if I will run for state representative again in two years, and I have not yet made a decision, but again, I thank you all for your support, letters to the editors, displaying signs on your property, your calls and so much more.

Tom Bossie
