Stultz Electric Co. occupied this building, left photo, on the north side of the Presumpscot River at Bridge Street since 1956. The building was originally four-and-a-half stories high and was part of the Westbrook Manufacturing Complex, which dates back to the 1830s. The large building in the background is the Dana Warp Mill on Bridge Street. The building to the right was the vacant C.E. Noyes Tire Co. warehouse, which was also part of the Westbrook Manufacturing Complex. This building was destroyed by a spectacular fire on Oct. 18, 1992. Stultz Electric Co. sold the building to Tim Flannery in 2002, who cleared the site and developed the Riverfront Plaza Office complex and parking garage.
