If you believe that every legislator wants to submit bills to please his or her constituents, then you probably believe that the larger the number of legislators, the larger the budget and the bigger the tax bill will be for the taxpayers.

If this is true, then one way to reduce taxes is to reduce the size of our Legislature, say from 150 to 50 representatives and the same percentage for the senate.

This could be accomplished with referendum in 2007 with proper, widespread understanding.
