Police are hunting for a man who fled a Buxton pharmacy Dec. 27 with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication in an armed robbery.
The armed robber entered Rite Aid Pharmacy, 226 Parker Farm Road, at 5:14 p.m. and demanded Oxycotin, according to police. The robber was last seen heading toward Standish on Route 22. A police report didn’t disclose the type of weapon used in the incident.
The robber is described as a white male between 20 and 25 years old, about 5’2″ or 5’3.” He was wearing glasses and a dark pullover sweatshirt and nylon pants.
Buxton officers Mike Grovo and Brad Gaumont responded to the robbery.
