Larrabee Village celebration

Larrabee Village, 30 Liza Harmon Drive, will observe its 10th anniversary at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.

Refreshments will be served. The senior housing project opened in 1997.

Local deans’ list students

Daniel Webster College, Nashua, N.H., announced that Regina Wood of Westbrook was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2006 semester. Students earn this honor by achieving a semester grade point average of 3.5.

Benjamin P. Knight, a sophomore, was named to the dean’s list for his outstanding academic achievement for the fall semester at Colby College in Waterville. A mathematics major, Knight graduated from Westbrook High School. He is the son of Margaret Knight of Westbrook and Jonathan Knight of Worcester, Mass.

Regina G. Wohl, a junior at Colby, was named to the dean’s list for her outstanding academic achievement for the fall semester.

Wohl, a sociology major, also graduated from Westbrook High School. She is the daughter of Daniel and Lisa Wohl of Westbrook.

Cheverus honor roll

Five students from Westbrook have been named to the honor roll for the first semester at Cheverus High School in Portland.

They are Anthony Burke, senior; Joseph Dadiego, Nathaniel Lawson and Melissa Slater, sophomores; and Lauren DuBois, freshman.
