The staff at Mission Possible Teen Center has announced that Dan Decoster ss “Teen of the Month.” Dan has been coming to Mission Possible regularly since the beginning of this school year.
He loves playing poker, and while he participates in other groups and programming, he also reaches out to make a difference within the center. He was part of a small group of teens that organized and raised money through a successful bowl-a-thon. Because of those efforts, they will have two refurbished pool tables to use at the center. This is just one example of how Dan contributes to our community.
Dan is one of those teens who stands out with his kindness, respect and common decency toward everyone around him. He is faced with challenges just like every other teen, but stays strong and true to his own values and beliefs. These impressive qualities have a positive influence on the other teens around him. Dan has a great sense of humor and knows how to get people around him to laugh. He is a valuable asset to our community.
Congratulations, Dan, thanks for being such a great part of the teen center!
