The photo at left shows a portion of the Cumberland Street side of the Warren Block around 1978. Businesses occupying the first floor were the Captain’s Catch Fish Market, Hob-Nob Bar, U.S. Post Office (Cumberland Mills Branch) and Cobb Printing Co. The Hob-Nob was sold and is now the Millside Tavern, which took over the space occupied by the fish market when it went out of business. The post office was consolidated with the Brackett Street Post Office in a new building on Main Street and the Alterations Shop occupies the space vacated when Cobb Printing moved to Main Street before going out of business.
