Fire and Rescue

Between Oct. 23 and Oct. 28, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported seven patients to Maine Medical Center.

On Oct. 23, at around 9 p.m., the fire department responded to a power line down on Trundy Road.

On Oct. 24, at around 12:30 p.m., the fire department assisted with a rescue on Two Lights Road.

On Oct. 24, at around 3:30 p.m., the fire department responded to an activated fire alarm on Bowery Beach Road.

On Oct. 26, at around 9 a.m., the fire department responded to an activated fire alarm on Trundy Road.

Fierce feline

On Oct. 24, a resident of Massachusetts reported a cat bite. The owner of the cat was identified and issued a quarantine notice. The case has been referred to the animal control officer.

Money machine

On Oct. 26, at about 3:15 p.m., a resident of the Mitchell Road area reported a theft. Someone had obtained personal information and used an ATM to remove several thousand dollars from the resident’s account. The bank was notified.

Back damage

On Oct. 26, at about 8 p.m., police received a report regarding criminal mischief to a motor vehicle while parked at the high school. Damage had been done to the rear quarter panel.
