Westbrook Mayor Bruce Chuluda, above, cuts the ribbon to open the new playground at Prides Corner School on Oct. 31. At left, students at the school enjoy the fruits of volunteer hours and donations that built them a brand new playground. Among the many contributors to the project are the city of Westbrook, the Cornelia Warren Community Association, Colex, Sign Dynamics, Kohl’s, school parents and a crew of Westbrook High School wrestlers and football players.
