As a candidate for city council in the Nov. 6 election, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Councilor Drew Gattine on his successful bid for re-election to the Westbrook City Council. I have truly enjoyed campaigning in Ward 2 during the past few months and consider myself fortunate to have met a number of very nice people, including Drew and his family.
Despite the fact that he was my opponent in this race and the fact that we may disagree on some political issues, I appreciate the level of professionalism demonstrated by Drew during this campaign.
I would also like to thank those members of the community that supported my campaign as well, and urge them to join me in supporting Drew Gattine and our other elected city leaders as we continue working together to make Westbrook and even better community to live and work.
