Congregation Bet Ha’am in South Portland will host a “December dilemma” luncheon, Sunday at noon at the synagogue.
With the holiday season here, many people deal with the annual struggle known as the “December dilemma.” Interfaith families often wrestle with how to handle the holidays amid feelings of isolation, cultural conflicts and the pull of family memories.
Bet Ha’am’s Interfaith Outreach Committee is holding a forum in which thoughts, concerns and challenges can be shared in a supportive environment.
Lunch will be provided and child care is available for children ages 2-10. Those who need child care should call the synagogue at 879-0028 by Thursday. The congregation is located at 81 Westbrook St.
