I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who supported me in last week’s election to help me become the next Westbrook city clerk.

I am honored to be the person who was chosen to follow in the footsteps of Bill Clarke and Barbara Hawkes and want you to know that I will not take this position or your faith in me lightly. I especially want to thank everyone who devoted countless hours during my campaign to help with the election and to help my family during a difficult time. As some of you know, my husband became very ill a few weeks into the campaign and it was a very trying time for us.

I am grateful for everyone who was willing to lend a hand and just want you to know how much we appreciate your love and support.
