The Southwestern Maine Activities Association recently announced its all-star selections for the 2007 season.

Gorham had two players make the first team all-star squad: senior Kayleigh Ballantyne and sophomore Hannah Prince. The Rams also had Shannon O’Brien chosen as a second team all-star and senior Kate Bowring made the squad as an honorable mention.

Westbrook junior Erin Murphy was the Blazes’ only first team all-star. Junior Corinna Knot made the second team all-stars and senior Alyssa McCarthy was an honorable mention choice.

Bonny Eagle was led by first team all-star Amy Richardson. The Scot senior also won the Faith Littlefield Award for her top-notch play this year.

The Scots also had juniors Erynn Brayley and Becky King chosen as second team all-stars. And senior Jessica Plummer was an honorable mention.
