The building at 597 Bridgton Road was constructed in 1964 by Charles Thomas Jr. to house his furniture manufacturing business, The Wood Shed. Thomas closed the business in the early 1980s, and, over the years, several businesses have occupied the site. In the left photo, Nelson Castle was operating the Hobby Center. Wake-N Bakery & Glass Emporium is the current occupant.
