Local walks will begin and end at the following locations:
• Sanford Junior High School with a walk route that is approximately 3 miles.
• Southern Maine Community College in Portland with a walk route that is approximately 4 miles.
The Walk will take place in rain or snow but in case of severe weather, the event will go on in the facility. Walker check-in begins at 8 a.m. with an official kick-off starting at 8:50; a light breakfast will be available. When walkers return they will be greeted by the Red Carpet Crew Cheerers; lunch donated by local businesses will be available.
