The Westbrook American reported on Feb. 27, 1963, that Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cobb and sons David and Stephen were new residents in North Gorham. They bought a historical home where schoolmaster Levi Hall once held school in a room.

In Buxton, Emery Wills had purchased a farm on Route 112 in West Buxton. A former owner, Eleanor Stevens, was in charge of the cafeteria at the George Jack Memorial School.
