Stroudwater Street closed Saturday
Stroudwater Street will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m-5 p.m. Saturday as the Westbrook Fire and Rescue Department conducts training.
Firefighters will perform a live burn on the DeWolfe house at 471 Stroudwater St. The property was purchased by the city as the site of the new middle school. The city determined that the house would need to be taken down, so the fire department plans to use it for training purposes.
