BIRD, LITTLE DUDE

The first warm days of spring bring everyone out to enjoy and explore their environment. Above, a killdeer pauses by a small pond off Bartlett Road at the Gorham Industrial Park on Tuesday. Technically in the family of shorebirds, killdeer often nest in gravel and live far from water.
