The Maine Driving Club and Skyline Farm invite the public to join them to celebrate the first annual National Carriage & Driving Month in May. This annual event is the creative idea of the Carriage Association of America, and both the Maine Driving Club and Skyline Farm are excited to be taking part.

Spend a spring afternoon at beautiful and historic Skyline Farm, from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, to learn the basics of carriage driving. Enjoy a hands-on learning experience with both Maine Driving Club members and Skyline Farm volunteers.

Explore the Skyline Farm Carriage Museum, which will be showcasing its new “Summer Fair” exhibit. See a live driving demonstration in the outdoor arena, try your hand at “driving” a reinboard “horse,” and learn how to harness a horse. Horse-drawn wagon rides down The Lane will be available for $5 per person, with children 5 and under riding free.

This event is designed to be educational and informative for anyone who loves horses and carriages, equine enthusiasts and beginner drivers alike.

Admission is $3 per person or $5 per car. Skyline Farm is located at 95 The Lane in North Yarmouth.
