No one was injured during a shooting incident that occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday in Buxton.
Thomas B. Walsh, 52, of Buxton, is being charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and terrorizing after firing shots at his residence, located at 820 River Road, according to Officer Troy Chenard.
There were six people in the home at the time of the incident. They escaped through another window and hid in a shed next to the house until police arrived, according to Chenard.
Walsh was intoxicated, Chenard said. Officers from the Maine State Police Tactical team were able to take him into custody without incident. He was transported to York County Jail.
Officers from the Gorham Police Department also responded.
