The following is the list of streets recently approved for road improvements during the 2008-2009 construction seasons.

The Engineering Department and Public Services Department will notify, in accordance with the Westbrook street opening code, all property owners abutting the streets contained on the list. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the streets as listed below.

Work to be completed through the 08-09 construction season.

Residents will be notified by Public Services when work for a specific street has been scheduled with the paving contractor.

Spring Street-William Clark Drive to Golf Course – cold plane/pave

Route 302 (approximately 1,200 feet) – Maintenance shim

Dodge Street-Bridget Street end – reclaim/ pave

Webb Street – reclaim/pave

Giles Street – reclaim /pave

High Street – reclaim/pave

Sidewalks sections of the following streets:

• Stroudwater Street

• Main Street at Cumberland Mills

• Cumberland Street – Bridge Street to Pierce Street

• Park Road
