Along with the sunny weather comes a full schedule of summer events and programs at Warren Memorial Library.
Every fourth Friday of the month, as part of Westbrook’s new art walk, will be a free concert in the library auditorium.
And even though the summer’s already underway, there’s still time for people of all ages to sign up for summer reading programs.
Participants have a chance to win prizes. For more information, visit the front desk at the library.
The Warren Memorial Library Book Discussion group is continuing through the summer. The group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. In July, the group will be discussing “Stern Men” by Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of bestselling “Eat, Pray, Love,” and in August, the group will be discussing “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen. Refreshments are served.
There are lots of kids events this summer – concerts, story times,
classes and more – all centered around this summer’s reading theme “Go Buggy for Books!” For a full list of events, come by the library, or visit www.myspace.com/warrenlibrary.
