The Westbrook American reported on Sept. 4, 1963, that a list of Gorham graduates enrolling in colleges as freshmen included Ralph Foley at Aroostook County State Teachers College and Gertrude Lewry at Washington County State Teachers College.

Suzanne Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Smith of West Buxton, begins her duties as a teacher at South Portland Junior High School on Sept. 4.
