Two Windham teens are facing charges for a strong-arm robbery in Westbrook earlier this month.
On Monday, Westbrook police, with the help of Windham police and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 18-year-old Anthony Raine, also known as Anthony Dunton, and accomplice 19-year-old Joseph Maxfield, both of Windham, for a strong-arm robbery that occurred outside an apartment in Westbrook on Jan. 19.
Police said the arrests end a week-long investigation and a brief man hunt.
According to Westbrook Police Chief Bill Baker, the 20-year-old male victim suffered minor injuries during the robbery, where cash and a cell phone were taken. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Raine and Maxfield were both taken to Cumberland County Jail and are being charged with Class A robbery.
As of Tuesday, Raine was still at the jail awaiting arraignment. Maxfield is out on bail.
