Westbrook police made three arrests following a drug raid on two Seavey Street apartments Friday.

At around 8:30 p.m., the Westbrook police, in cooperation with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Cumberland County SWAT team, executed two no-knock drug search warrants at 28 Seavey St., apartments 3 and 4.

According to Police Chief Bill Baker, at least five children in the house, ranging in ages from 3 to 18 years old, were exposed to the adults’ drug use and the drug raid.

Baker said one person on the scene acknowledged using between 10 and 20 bags of heroin a day, which would cost between $200 to $400. According to Baker, both of her children have been removed from her custody.

Three people were arrested as a result of this search warrant and investigation. Thomas Sargent, 35, of Standish, was arrested on a warrant and for possession of Oxycontin.

Jason “JJ” Meyer, 37, of 28 Seavey St., was arrested for possession of heroin, and Amanda Davis, 27, of 28 Seavey St., was arrested for possession of cocaine.

They were all taken to Cumberland County Jail and released the same night.

Baker said the Westbrook police continue to implore the friends and family of drug users in the city to get them help.
